Other top Men’s seeds include second seed Zac Millar (Auckland), and home club players Anthony Lepper and Elijah Thomas – with the latter in top form after reaching the final of the Henderson Open last weekend.
An event as such gives all our open players a chance to compete for crucial grading points to help propel their national and international rankings. Aside from ranking points, the tournament is also a selection event for the New Zealand Junior team that will compete at the World Junior Champs in the Gold Coast later this year.
