2009 Autumn Interclub - Voting Poll Result
At the Interclub meeting a suggestion was put forward to pilot three player teams in Senior Autumn interclub next year. (Rather than teams of four).
The poll has now closed, with 70% of respondents indicating they would prefer to stay with 4 player teams. Senior Autumn pennant will not change to 3 player teams in 2009.
Thank you for voting.
Point a Rally Scoring
Following the Squash New Zealand AGM a decision has yet to be made regarding the national introduction of the point a rally scoring system. The feedback received from the spring pennant trial showed an almost unanimous opposition to point a rally, so Squash Auckland interclub competitions and tournaments will continue to play under the traditional scoring method in 2009.
It will be at individual club's discretion as to what scoring format they use for their tournaments.
