Squash NZ Coaching Courses
Squash Aucklands investment in Club Coaches:
Clubs may send up to 2 coaches free of charge to the level 1 courses below. Clubs who send coaches need to underwrite the course cost ($100 per coach) if the coach does not complete the 1 hour assessment within 12 months of the course. (see assessment dates below).

To enrol a coach in a course, clubs or individuals need to complete the nomination form
2010 Course Dates

LEVEL ONE COURSE
Date:   20th/21st March (Saturday/Sunday)
Time:    9am - 5pm (both days)
Venue:  North Shore Squash Club
Facilitator: Lindsey Walters
Cost:    $100 or free if nominated by your club and assessment is completed within 12 months

Pre-Requisite : Coaches must be capable of coaching groups or individual up to E grade
(must be able to feed the ball to players up to E grade)

Level 1 accreditation: 24 hours coaching must be completed prior to assessment

Coaches must be prepared for their assessment and must bring:
1. A Lesson Plan (please refer to your manual to ensure you follow the coaching steps).
2. Completed rules exam
3. Verification form
4. Someone to coach on court

Verification Form
Assessments are undertaken with individual coaches for 1 hour (on the hour) on the days above.
Coaches must attend the assessment day ready to coach (including someone to coach) & with the coaching verification form completed. Please book your assessment date/time as soon as you have completed your coaching hours.
